On the check in trying to charge me even I said I’ve paid already , in the room where was kettle and cups in the tray coffee sachets was opened no sugar left and I’ve found some hair ..... as we wanted to make some coffee after our travelling it was not possible, went to reception asked to replace it and after half an hour lady brought 3 sachets of coffee 2 of it decaf.... 3 sachets of sugar , didn’t want to go to reception again as was tired , so Customer service pretty poor

Really nice comfy and spacious room, right next to the River Thames. Staff were very accommodating with our last-minute reservation and late check-in.

Good hotel, where family members stayed before

Pros: As well as the rooms & views around the hotel being good, the breakfasts were great, offering much choice
Cons: Bathroom could be better, the sink in particular had a plug, which became impossible to use. Maybe staff checking these facilities are necessary.
Location: Pleasant being near but just outside centre of town & near a Leisure centre, where there is an Annual Reunion for us
Besides the hotel & Staff etc., being good, we were well positioned there an for important event for us nearby

Lovely stay

Pros: Lovely location, good amenities
Cons: Lower priced breakfast
Location: Reading is fab for shopping and has many great places to eat. Close to Windsor, Henley on Thames and Marlow, through beautiful countryside.
The hotel is in an ideal location to leave the car and walk into Reading. The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed a nice swim before breakfast. The only problem we had was the Receptionist INSISTED that we had to pay and I was sure that we had pre-paid, I Should have called Ebookers there and then to check, but we paid and checked later. Of course we had then paid twice and had to wait days for a refund. I won't make that mistake again!
