Property was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Only issue we had was interaction with staff (or who we believe was the property owner). We unfortunately arrived quite late after the latest check in time due to a delayed flight, and we called in advance about this to give them a heads up. On the website it says there's an £8 late check in fee which was fine. When we arrived, which was quite late, we were greeted with frustration, understandable but really made us uncomfortable. We were then told we had to pay £30, and it had to be in cash. I was shocked by this and didn't have cash on me, so it had to be paid later. This really did make us feel uncomfortable during our stay, and despite me being an unconfrontational person, i do wish i had inquired as to why the fee was so high despite the website's information, and why card was not acceptable. It felt quite off. Otherwise, I'm sure if you arrive before 10pm you'll be fine staff wise.

Great bed! So comfy. Room was spacious and well equipped. Shower not the most powerful in the world but to be expected in this type of building

Pleasant stay in Edinburgh

Very central excellent for visiting Edinburgh very short walk to the tram: bus stop to the airport nice period hotel big rooms . Good breakfast

We arrived to check only to be asked if we had checked our email?? as ebookers had sent us something. After a lot of fishing with the hotel staff it turned out that there was a problem with the room. That ebookers were trying to contact us with alternative accommodation. We waited , got our daughter to check our email at home still nothing . Final a email came through tell us to contact ebookers. Tried that no joy in getting through. The hotel manager final got ebookers to contact us by phone but with no accommodation ready to offer. This Edinburgh at 5 in the evening on a Saturday just looking on line our selves could see that there was nothing. After a frustrating call with ebookers offering a hotel 8miles out of Edinburgh. I asked for my money back and left the hotel. It was poorly handled if the hotel had been up front to what the problem was rather than making us feel bad that we not connected to our emails 24/7 and ebooker had call/text us that there was a problem rather than emailing us at 4:50pm after we had arrived at the hotel. Things would have been a lot better

We loved our stay in The No.32 Hotel very much. Great location in every way. Easy access by tram from the Edinburgh Airport to Haymarket stop and after that just a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The Princess Street in the city center is only a few tram stops away. Our room was quiet and cosy with a small and clean shower and a good bed with white linen. Everything worked nicely. We also had a beautiful view to the garden and occasionally we could hear the beautiful playing exercises of the nearby St Mary´s Music School. We enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast with fresh fruits, beans in tomato, fried eggs and bacon, sausages and black pudding together with tea, toasts and orange juice. The manager served us fabulously with my food allergies and intolerances. We realized that the full breakfast was worth paying for because it lasted us well into the afternoon tea or coffee. With this plan we did not have to waste any time for finding a proper restaurant. Small snacks wherever were enough for us during the day. After a long day in the city or on the day trip it was wonderful to return to our own cosy hotel´s bar for a drink or two with smooth music on the background. I must say that we felt very safe and welcomed and the manager was a very helpful host to all the guests. Do not hesitate to ask the manager tips for day trips or nearby restaurants. Special thanks for our host for tipping a nice Greek restaurant for our last night dinner.

I know Edinburgh quite well, I have been there 6 times and stayed at many hotels. No 32 Hotel was a very positive experience, my new favourite. Location is great, easy when you arrive from the airport if you use tram or bus, stops are just 200 meters from the hotel. New town and old town are just 1-1,5 kilometers from the hotel-nice walk if you don't want to take a tram or bus there. Beautiful Dean Village and trendy Stockbridge with nice cafes and shops are very close as well. The street, where the hotel is located, is very quiet and the house itself is a beautiful townhouse. Interior is cosy and my room was beautifully furnished, stylish and I had a wonderful view to garden! Everything was also very clean, well kept and newly renovated. Breakfast was very filling, mix of Scottish breakfast, fresh fruits, yogurts etc- very good. The feeling was more like visiting someones home. This a family run small hotel, as a guest I felt very welcomed, Munish was very friendly and helpful host. I wish to return there and will recommend Hotel No 32 to my friends and family, why not to everyone.

Top Lage und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Altstadt ist in 20 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar, ansonsten sehr gute ÖV-Anbindung.

L'accueil à l'arrivée, par contre, personne à la réception les jours suivants. Si nous avions des demandes, je le faisais par mail. Escaliers peu agréables, chambre au sous-sol avec une seule fenêtre donnant sur une autre fenêtre, chambre pas faite tous les jours, papier de toilette pas remis.
