The hotel was alright as It was not the best hotel I have been. However, we stayed 2 days in a room with no functionning TV which is not acceptable as my children were getting bored at certain point. It took the hotel management two days to sort this out. And the breakfast choice is limited and r the food were just ok.

Good location

Pros: It's location & it was airy & spacious
Cons: The restaurant menu & prices
Location: Convenient for Liverpool, Wirral & Chester.
Hotel & its facilities good but we were lead to believe there was a Marco Pierre White restaurant next door & was disappointed that it was shut down. The food in the hotel grill bar was expensive & service was so slow

Busy with parties and disappointing bed

Pros: Lcoation and size of the rooms.
Cons: The quality of the mattresses on the bed and the cooked breakfast items.
This hotel is in a great location near to the promenade in Hoylake. We stayed here for two nights and on both evening there were large, quite loud parties taking place. Our room was on the ground floor and was quite large with a very nice bathroom with shower. However, the bed itself was a disappointment, it was an old fashioned coil-sprung mattress, meaning there were significant problems with roll together and my husband and I waking each other up as we moved in our sleep. The cooked items on the breakfast buffet (only scrambled eggs and sausages) were very poor.

Overnight Business Trip

The hotel was perfect for me to stay before a morning meeting in New Brighton. It was excellent value for money with the added bonus of breakfast being included in the price.

Peaceful hotel, friendly staff

What can I say? A peaceful, well located hotel, with friendly helpful staff. The only reason I can't quite give 5 stars is when moving one of the single beds in our room we discovered an old Malteaser under it! Also we felt the breakfast was a little bit limited compared to other similar places we have stayed at. Having said that, we would very happily stay there again. If I could give an overall rating of 4.5 stars I would do so as 5 is a bit too generous but 4 feels a little bit mean.

Great staff and a lovely clean hotel. Train station short walk away. Regular trips to liverpool perfect.
