Dated hotel at top of

We had paid for a superior double and was hit by an awful smell from the bathroom. Loose plug sockets and peeling paint as well as weak air conditioning. We did get moved to another room but it wasn’t much better. Everything about the hotel was in need of modernising. Breakfast is ok but nothing special.

Very good Palma holiday!

We thought that the hotel offered excellent value for money. Pool area was great (views of Palma and cruise ships) good sized pool, cafe bar etc. Would like to have seen parasols for shade though.Great choice for breakfast.Our room was on 9th floor with super views, and excellent air con. Lifts worked well all the time. Good bus links to Palma from front of hotel. Had read previous reviews about steep walks to hotel so we were prepared but they were really very steep!! but as we are quite fit it did not spoil our holiday.Would stay at this hotel again.

Great value for money.

Given that this is a 2 star hotel we were exceptionally pleased. The hotel enjoys an elevated position (numerous steps/steep incline) and because of that it has spectacular panoramic views across Palma Bay. From the pool terrace you can see into Palma, the cathedral and the airport - it is truly spectacular. Also great views from our (standard) room, great breakfasts. The hotel is very close to the cruse ship harbour (we could hear their music and P/A system). Downsides; pool terrace has no sunshades, and sunbeds are flat so you can't prop the backs up - quite uncomfortable. Nice pool/pool area and very clean. The drinks from the bar, including water were expensive (3.5 Euros for 1/2 pint of San Miguel and 1 Euro water in a plastic cup ) but there is a small supermarket within 100 yards of hotel and there is a fridge in the room! Walk into the Cathedral took us around one hour. Alternatively hop on a bus for 1.5 Euros. Other than that very pleased and would highly recommend.

I'll definitely be back

The hotel was very clean and I couldn't fault the staff they were so friendly! We stayed room only but ate breakfast and dinner once. Very good value for money, good selection. The pool and bar area were lovely and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
