"The interior was recently updated and was very clean and well appointed. The room was very large. The bathroom was spacious with a generous vanity with ample space on either side of the sink for personal items. There was a second well lite vanity & sink outside the bathroom! The complimentary breakfast had a vast selection of hot foods, along with multiple types of fresh fruit and pastries. Staff was attentive and very friendly. The exterior was being redone and had scaffolding all around the front and sides but that did not impede access to the lobby or limit access to psrking."

"This property is a bit north of Ventura and is right on a small cliff next to the water. We saw dolphins and seals swim by as well as plenty of pelicans, seagulls, and herons. It’s a bit out of the way and an older property, but it is charming and the staff are pleasant and helpful. We are glad we stayed here."

"This place is centrally located. You can walk to the beach, fairgrounds, casino. The Mission is right behind it along with main street. Also there is a nice botanical nature hike less than 1/2 mile away."
