A lot to like in a great location

This hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the Plaka and also just a short walk from a central metro station that connects you direct to the airport. So it doesn't get much better for travellers who want to explore and enjoy the culture. Check-in at the hotel is a delight. We were offered a glass of water and chocolate truffles before being sat down to chat to the reception staff. That's a classy touch. The rooms are heavy on design and make good use of space. Most will love its modern look I think. There are mirrors everywhere and an angular theme makes it obvious that everything in this room was meticulously designed, with mostly great success. My favourite thing was probably the multifunction toilet/shower door - ingenious in my opinion but you'll have to check in to see exactly what I mean. Our room was quiet despite the busy location and the electric blinds ensured light was totally shut out. Because of this we slept really well and even slept a little later than planned as we thought it was still night. Love those blinds (I might even get them installed at home, lol). The only negative I can think of is that the gold sinks looked fabulous when we first entered the room but they really show up the soap marks after you use them first time. A tiny niggle that I'm sure most people won't even notice. As for the price, you'll have to decide whether the extra cost is worth it. If you plan to be out exploring Athens all day and night, then you may be better off economising in one of the many cheaper hotels in the area. But if you want to treat yourself or plan to spend time at the hotel then this is an excellent choice.

Excellent hôtel

Je suis parti au dernier moment avec un last minute, et je peux dire que j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité de cet hôtel et son design (ne vous fiez pas à l'extérieur). Grande chambre avec tout le confort possible. Le personnel est très attentif à la moindre demande et essaie vraiment de nous aider (j'avais demandé de changer de chambre car elle donnait sur une rue bruyante, et ils m'ont trouvé le jour même une autre plus tranquille). Le seul bémol peut-être, pour quelqu'un de sensible au bruit, est le côté ou le trafique est le plus important, sinon vraiment bien. Je le recommande en premier aux personnes aimant le design. SK
