Lovely small hotel near to the castle area.

Location: There are so many things to do nearby and within a short travelling distance. Very close to the main castle complex.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was well appointed and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

visit Budapest

We enjoyed staying in this hotel second time. It was comfortable, very friendly staff. The restaurant nearby provided a variety of food for breakfast we enjoyed. The room temperature was good, and the room was comfortable. The only thing that the TV didn't work, it didn't boder us as we didn't have time to watch Overall it was a nice experience to be close to the castlebin a nice setting Thank you

Great staff, all you need

Although this hotel would not be rated 4 star in more northern European countries, it had all we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room is sufficiently spacious and the balcony is really big. We tried the wellness centre and found it very enjoyable but would not want to share it with others (you can book it for private use, it just costs a little more). The breakfast was well prepared and the dining room was light. We also ate at the hotel on the first night. the duck was excellent but the noodles were not good. A bottle of sparkling wine in the room on your arrival costs next to nothing. The location is excellent for Buda. If you want to go to the Pest side, the metro and tram lines (both very easy to use) are a 5 minute walk away (down steps). This was not a suitable hotel location for anyone with walking difficulties, but was good for a romantic break. The area around the hotel is very quiet in the evenings.

Just relax in Budapest

in some respects a basic 3.5 to 4 star hotel, in as much the rooms were comfortable but standard and no laundry service appeared to be offered, however its location, its design,its restaurant and , in general, its friendly staff made for a great place to stay and to relax. It nestles in a quiet avenue immediately below the wall of the castle district so that the splendour of that area is one minutes walk away and sunset behind the Buda hills has to be a highlight of any day . It is very easy (a few minutes walk)to access the major transport hub on the Buda side and a further 10-15 minutes will have you in the 'tourist' heart of Pest. Unless you believe that all hotels in all major cities have to be 5 star reproductions of each other and do not value peace and contentment you cannot locate a better place to stay than the Castle Garden.

Comfortable Hotel

Great location and friendly staff. Hotel restaurant was lower-scale, but hotel guests get a discount. Breakfast-buffet for 10 euros. Room was clean and bathroom was big.

Impressions

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est extraordinaire pour bien visiter le quartier historique du Château. Le professionnalisme et la disponibilité du personnel sympathique, le rapport qualité prix et l'ambiance familiale ont rendu mon séjour à Budapest très agréable. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est varié et les chambres sont confortables. Je recommande volontiers l'hôtel Castle Garden à tous ceux qui aiment le calme, découvrir l'ambiance romantique de Buda tout en restant à deux pas des moyens de transport et le centre ville.
