Value for money hotel

We stayed at the Le Canberra Hotel for a week at the end of January. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the SNCF train station, at which the bus from Nice airport dropped us off in Cannes. The front door to the hotel is difficult to find as it is somewhat squeezed-in between shop fronts on the Rue d'Antibes. Once inside and up the steps, the hotel broadens-out, taking up the space behind the neighbouring shops to look more like the pictures of the hotel on various web sites. The outdoor area to the rear of the hotel is neatly presented, with comfortable seating and a small-to-medium sized pool. This is overlooked by the small dining area, at which a buffet breakfast with a respectable selection of cereal, egg, bacon, sausage, toast, croissant etc. is available. Our Privilege Room with pool view was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Minor criticisms of the room would be that clothes storage was somewhat inadequate and in the ensuite bathroom the designer washbasin held barely an inch of water. I also can't recall the last time I had to stand in a bath to take a shower in a hotel. But the hotel just about merits its 4 stars and all of the staff are very pleasant and helpful, which always makes a big difference. We would stay here again.

NESPRESSO

Prévoir la mise à disposition de machines Nespresso dans les chambres + petit déjeuner !! Impossible d'obtenir un expresso au petit déjeuner Réponse de l'hotel : pour le petit déjeuner c'est le café qui est proposé !!
