Amazing stay at the Inn at Middleton Place

We stayed 1 night at the Inn at Middleton Place. The rooms are modern, very spacious, and clean. Personnel was great. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. The swimming pool and lodge were great. Free access to Middleton Plantation was a big plus. We strongly advise you to stay at this hotel.

Wonderful experience in an amazing setting

I have never stayed at a hotel that had better value for money! The rooms are beautiful and big, they feel more like little appartments and are spread out over different buildings on the very large property. There are beautiful old trees and lawns everywhere, there are hammocks in the trees, and the buildings and the swimming pool look out on the Ashley river. It was very quiet and restful. Guests are allowed on the hotel grounds even after checking out, so we used the beautiful swimming pool in the morning, and our car stayed there as well while we visited the plantation in the afternoon (The entrance fee to the plantation is included in the hotel fee, which makes it an amazing deal!) I'd recommend staying two nights at the Inn, or getting there early if you only stay one night, to fully take advantage of your experience there. The hotel also offers Kayak tours that we didn't take because we didn't have the time ( and that you should take in the morning before the worst heat if you're visiting in the summer) but the guests that we talked to that had taken it said the guided tour was absolutely wonderful, with a very knowledgeable and kind guide, they had seen all sorts of animals including aligators and had not only learned about nature but also the history of Middleton place and the area. This is the place to go if you're coming to Charleston!

Das Besondere

Besonderes Hotel in besonderer Lage. Schönes Hotel-Ambiente an historischem Ort, nettes Personal, direkt neben dem Middleton-Park, in dem man allein einen Tag zubringen kann. Das Hotel ist seinen Preis wert, eine besondere Erfahrung und absolut eine Empfehlung.
