Perfect location

Perfect location. Just oposit of botanic garden. You need to walk through this fabelous parc and check out some of the old trees. Plenty of flowers to take picturs of. The tram station is also nearby

Budget overnight stay

Quiet clean sparse, wifi $5for 24hours. 15mins in coffee shop for free.museum is across the road and free too.

Friendly staff, good location, nice coffee shop, quiet and mostly clean hotel/hostel. But then a few other things.. the bunk beds are not that comfortable, if you sleep at the top it means you will have very limited space and you can’t even sit straight without hitting your head to the roof all the time(also had one of the spotlights located right above me). I noticed too that the blankets are not being washed between the guests which is not hygienic. Housekeeping staff could do their job a little bit better, there was toilet paper and towels missing, also only about 2 coffee cups in total left in the kitchen on the 1st floor. Also the kitchen was small and the ventilation could have been better. Despite the long list of negative things, most of these are totally fixable. Overall I still enjoyed my stay and will visit again :)

Perfektes Hostel für die Durchreise. Nahe Lage zum Stadtzentrum, für ein Hostel schöne und geräumige Duschen und Toiletten. Die Betten quietschen leider bei jeder Bewegung und die Küche ist etwas klein.

Günstig sehr zentral

Das Hostel liegt sehr zentral,alles ist zu Guss erreichbar.Canterburymuseum (gratis!) und Hagley Park direkt gegenüber. Für den gezahlten Preis von unter 40 Euro fürs Einzelzimmer erhielt ich ein Doppelzimmer mit Balkon.Sauberkeit war ok,auch die Waschräume waren ok. Würde für einen kurzen Aufenthalt wieder dieses Hostel buchen.
