Dear AndrewThank you for your recent stay and the fantastic feedback. Please if you have some time to also pen a 5-stars in our trip advisor page. This would really mean a lot to us in getting recognised for our hard work and also help us with our overall trip advisor ranking.Thank you in advance. Best regardsPeter

For what I wanted/paid for, it ticked all my boxes. I know the area as I used to live around there some years ago so I had no problems with the hotel being in this neighbourhood.
I didn't know there was an event in the park opposite and despite a big police and steward presence at the end of the day, it was still very noisy which went on into the night.
I'll take responsibility for that being down to me and something I'll consider for the next time I have to spend an weekend evening in a London hotel.
Overall, it did what it said on the tin

Hotel reception very helpful when advising of possible late check in . Room generally clean and spacious considering single room booked. Two single beds in room. Good shower. Easy check out .

It was an okay choice for a business trip, where I just needed somewhere to stay that was pleasant enough and convenient. The room is tiny and you wouldn't want to do much more than sleep in it, though this was what I needed the room for, and otherwise the staff was friendly, location convenient, so no complaint at all.

Had one of the best nights sleep in my life here! Great that they included a huge fan in the room too as we experienced a randomly super sunny Saturday. My only criticism is that it’s very close to the road and you can feel the vibrations if the bed is positioned right against the wall (as mine, in a 3 person room, was). Didn’t stop me from sleeping right through though

Great position opposite Finsbury Park
Pros:Cleanliness, friendly staff and only 10 mins to the next day's destination.
Cons:Larger room/bathroom. View.
Location:Opposite Finsbury Park and near to West Reservoir for my swim event
next day
.
Very clean, friendly staff, good parking area and bar facility and very convenient for our destination the next day - West Reservoir - BUT room and bathroom VERY small and in basement so wouldn't have wanted to stay more than 1 or 2 nights.

Wireless Festival Weekend
The Best Western Highbury is in the perfect location if you are a reveller and want to go to the Wireless Festival, it is situated directly opposite Finsbury Park.
However, the rooms are very small. None of the staff can speak english well, some can't speak english at all which got a bit frustrating. Breakfast was miserly to say the least - a few yogurts, a bit of fruit and loads of bread products, quite shocking really for what I paid for 3 nights in this hotel. I won't be going again.

Good All-rounder
We stayed at this hotel as we were going to see a concert up at Alexandra Palace. Being situated on the Seven Sisters road between Manor House tube and Finsbury Park station, access around London is easy.
The hotel is easy to find and right on the roadside facing the park. We were lucky to get a room at the back of the hotel so it was nice and quiet, the road it sits on can get busy.
Check in was quick and the lady on reception was helpful, the room was easy to find, a decent size and all the amenities you generally get I.e. tea, coffee, soaps.
We got a good nights sleep, however the hotel and the room was finely far too warm for us. You can play around with the radiators (I admit we didn't want to risk giving it a go), so opened a window so far as not to let too much noise in. my point being, there is no air con (in our room anyway) so if your an adamant air con or climate control person, you're out of luck I'm afraid.
Overall, the room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was very basic but served its purpose (proper shower doors too Woohoo).
Good hotel and does the job excellently, suiting both leisure and business visits.
