No hot water , I raised this with reception but they gave me a business acrd to take it up with Aisha Murrell after I left. I left countless voice messages for 2 weeks but to no avail. I then rang the main reception to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service and I was told that they cold of done something and they "begged to differ" that I' telling the truth about my experience an to write an email. The receptionist would not allow me to speak and was extremely snotty then when i expressed my desire to actually communicate why I'm not happy which she refused to listen to and put the phone down on me. Terrible experience from staff that for some reason think you are beneath them. Avoid

Pleasant stay

Pros: Location and service
Cons: Not a lot to be fair all pretty good , perhaps some minor bathroom maintenance but that would be me being a little picky.
Location: Good access to the town and restaurants. Some good choices but remember they are pricey as it is Marlow.
My wife and I had a Recent stay at the Angler. Polite and prompt check in , very comfortable room albeit very warm evening with the heating off. Easy access to the town with plenty of restaurants. Great breakfast service and superb Eggs Benedict.

Lovely location

Great location , comfortable rooms in the hotel, staff varied service levels from Average to very good. Restaurant service was a little slow and on two occasions we had to prompt the waiter for delay or error correction. Very nice food albeit very high on price. Will definitely come back but on this occasion it gets a 7/10

Birthday celebration

We were greeted by a very pleasant young lady. Our room was not ready but after a couple of phone calls she notified us that we could now check in. Room was very nicely appointed, bathroom was clean with good amenities. Location of hotel was brilliant and the champagne and oyster bar on the lawn is a very nice spot for a drink. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and room overlooks the river.

Beautiful setting

The hotel looks out over the Thames and it is in a beautiful position. The terrace is a lovely place to sit by the water and have a drink and a bite to eat. Unfortunately this comes at a price. The night's stay wasn't expensive and the standard double was a pleasant, good sized and well equipped room. The thick duvet in the middle of summer was unnecessary but there was air conditioning when it got too warm. Noise can be heard from upstairs as the ceilings are very thin. The breakfast was good and all staff are either English or have a good command of the language which is refreshing. Easy walk into picturesque Marlow with good restaurants and cafés.
