Modern, clean lovely views from spacious room. Not aware of much in way of child friendly, only child menu without vegetarian option. No small games offered or area for families in poor weather. Our first visit to the only public room, through bar and dining room was greeted by noisy children clambering over the seating. A customer did point out a small seating area at far end which we welcomed.

Thank you for your review, Our children's menu may not have an vegetarian options on. However the chefs can adapt the main menu items, so that if any children did want a vegetable option then they can do. We don't have a specific area for children, however we do have a sofa area that is out of the way for them to sit on in the restaurant, but as the parents were eating in the bar unfortunately the age of these children couldn't be left unattended. We do have colouring books for them to occupy their time with, however they had digital tablets. I am sorry that you were greeted by noisy children however this isn't normally the scene here, it is also half term.

Beautiful setting - lovely friendly staff, enough though we missed the official deadline for breakfast by half an hour, they still asked us & made us some - fantastic
