Upper East Side Hotels with Shopping

"We just returned from Marriott Upper East side for one night for our daughters graduation . The hotel is conveniently located on the Upper East side NYC with easy access to FDR and subways for transportation etc. During our stay unfortunately our AC in the room was not functioning properly which made it very uncomfortable at night to sleep on account of the humidity and very high temps in Manhattan during the heatwave. Upon check out I mentioned this to the staff and left the property. To my surprise one hour later I received a call and email from a very helpful employee namely JEFFREY OSTERER DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS he mentioned that he had already refunded my entire stay for the inconvenience! Needless to say we were exceptionally impressed with the customer service here and how this matter was resolved ! Highly recommend the Hotel! "
