What currency will my OneKeyCash be in?
You can earn and redeem your OneKeyCash on bookings made in currencies offered in participating brands and regions, however OneKeyCash will always be tied to the currency associated with your account. If you are an existing One Key member, you will keep the currency associated with your account which is based on the region associated with most of your booking activity over the past 12 months. If you do not have any recent bookings, your account currency will be determined by the region you created your account in. If you are new to One Key and did not have an existing account, your account currency was assigned as GBP when your UK ebookers account was transitioned to One Key.
What will happen to my BONUS+ tier and rewards value?
If you had active rewards in your BONUS+ account, we automatically transferred your remaining BONUS+ rewards over to Expedia’s One Key rewards programme at their full value. We also reset your rewards expiration dates to 18 months from 4 September so you have more time to use them as OneKeyCash.
One Key has more tiers than BONUS+, so we placed you in the One Key equivalent of your BONUS+ tier. With One Key, tier status is unlocked through “trip elements.” To determine the One Key equivalent of your BONUS+ tier, we counted either your total room nights booked in 2023 or so far in 2024 (whichever is higher) as your total “trip elements” and placed you in the appropriate One Key tier shown below:
Blue - 0 trip elements
Silver - 5 trip elements
Gold - 15 trip elements
Platinum - 30 trip elements
Your One Key tier for 2025 will be determined based on how many trip elements you earn across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo in 2024. We will also count your stayed room nights from the start of 2024 on ebookers.
With BONUS+, you could only reach the next tier through hotel nights stayed, but with One Key, nearly any trip you complete will help you qualify for the next tier. You will get one trip element for each eligible hotel night, holiday-rental night, flight ticket, car hire and activity over £20 in value. So, for example, if you booked two nights in a hotel and a three-day car hire, you’d earn 5 trip elements, enough to reach Silver tier status in one trip.
Can I still book on ebookers in the UK?
As of 4 September 2024, you can no longer book on ebookers UK. All new shopping and booking activity will be directed to Expedia.
Will I still be able to use the ebookers UK app?
As of 4 September 2024, the ebookers UK app will no longer be available and you will not be able to book on ebookers UK through the app or on the website. All new shopping and booking activity will be directed to Expedia.
How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account here, but you must be signed in to do so. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to your account history–nor will our Customer Service team, which means they won’t be able to help you with past bookings.
