Dated old decor, whistling water taps and creaky doors. The room was freezing as rattly big sash windows with no draught excluders. The heating was in full blast all night and was still cold. It was a shocking experience. They didn't even have a cheap fan heater available. Absolute joke. When we went to breakfast I saw that the window sill in the bay windows was filthy. Dust and grime all around. The service was good from the guy that checked us and served breakfast. Should of paid half the price and got a Travelodge. Lesson learned

Not great

Staff and owner friendly but the hotel is not 4* - The bed was very uncomfortable, shower pressure very weak and took ages. Booked 3 nights but had to book another hotel after night 1

Sehr angenehme Wohnatmosphäre Hotel liegt in einem interessanten Stadtteil; zahlreiche Restaurants und Pubs in der Nähe, sehr nahe zur Brighton Pier und fußläufig zu den Lanes – Parken ein Problem: Tagesgebühr 10,40 Pfund im Straßenraum, daher u.U. langes Suchen nach Parkplatz oder weiter entferntes Parken – kleineres Zimmer mit älteren Möbeln und Bildern nett eingerichtet; sauber bei täglicher Reinigung (fünf Übernachtungen); Adapter für Netzanschluss erhältlich – gutes Full English Breakfast im ansprechenden Frühstücksraum – Personal sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit – insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Wohnatmosphäre und sehr zu empfehlen.
